Pastor Fred Johnson
Pastor sends out a devotional each day called, "Daily Insights". He has been doing this for many years. The devotionals have gone into prisons, to missionaries both home & abroad, to friends & family, and to many around the U.S.
Pastor Fred Johnson graduated from Practical Bible Training School in 1966. He met his wife, Beverly Hill there and they were married in July of that same year. He has been in ministry since graduation, serving in churches in NY and PA. They have four daughters, 12 grandchildren, and one great grandchild .
Pastor was ordained November 7, 1966 at his first pastorate at the Buckingham Baptist Church in Starlight, PA.
Pastor has been preaching since he was a teenager and worked summers as a counselor in Christian camps.
Back in 1968 he and his wife moved to Schenevus and he served as Pastor of the church. In 2014, he was invited to come back and be an Interim Pastor. He accepted the call to be full-time and they moved here in August of 2015.
His life verse is Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”
The goals for our church are:
To share the Gospel with the unsaved through example & through witnessing
To disciple the new believers
To teach & preach the whole council of God.
