If you know the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you ought to passionately love Him, knowing that all His commands are designed to guide you to life’s best (because He wants only what is best for you). Therefore you should trust Him regarding all the details of your life. Oh how true Romans 8:28 is! “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” We can experience the fullness of His joy! “These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full” (John 15:11).

As Paul requested and appreciated the belivers at Colosse praying for Him and that it meant so much to Him that fellow believers were praying consistently, what a comfort and encouragement it is to every born-again believer today to know that fellow-believers are daily praying for them.

It was a great comfort to know that my mother and others who have gone home to be with the Lord prayed for me every day. It is a great blessing to know that I am on the daily prayer list of many now as well.

It matters not whether you are a sports athlete, a politician, a factory worker, retail worker, doctor, nurse, waitress, waiter, dishwasher in a restaurant, a homemaker, etc., you can be a winner in life and enjoy rich rewards eternally for the glory of the Lord Jesus Christ, if you belong to Him, love Him with your entire being (Matthew 22:37), faifully serve Him (1 Corinthians 15:58) and glorify Him in all you do (1 Corinthians 10:31).

If you are a born-again believer but not walking in fellowship with Him, you will be a loser in this life and at the Judgment Seat of Christ where your service for Him will be judged.

If you do not belong to the Lord Jesus, it matters not how talented, etc., you are, you will be a loser eternally, experiencing the wrath of God, if you do not receive Him as your Lord and Savior! Come to Him NOW, while you can!

“He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God….

If you are a born-again believer, totally surrendered to the Lordship of Christ, the control of the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18), loving the Lord with your entire being (Matthew 22:37), faithfully serving Him (1 Corinthians 15:58), you are on the devil’s most wanted list.

If you are not bothered by him, it is because the above is not true of you, and he does not have to worry about you serving the Lord and reaching the lost for Christ and helping fellow believers to grow spiritually.

Oh, we cannot begin to comprehend with our poor human minds the beauties of heaven but the greatest beauty will be seeing our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whose glory will be the light thereof. To see Him, who shed His blood, paying the penalty for all sin and rose victorious over sin, death and the gave to provide the gift of eternal life for all who will come to Him will be the best of all and living with Him, loving and serving Him forver.

Many born-again believers do not get answers to their prayers, advancements in their service for the Lord (which includes their careers), etc., because they are not humble people, filled with the Holy Spirit but are filled with themselves, their own interests, etc. We ought to be the most humble of people because we are what we are and have what we have because of the grace of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! Remember what the Lord requires of us! “And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,” – Deuteronomy 10:12.

If you do not belong to the Lord Jesus, humble yourself, admit you are a sinner without hope apart from Him, and receive Him as your Lord and Savior NOW!

At first, some may feel that R.A. Torrey’s statement is a severe one, but stop and think about it for a moment. We, who are born-again, are commanded to study and know God’s Word and apply its instructions to all areas of our lives. If we fail to do so, we are foolish. May Christians are suffering in many areas of their lives and failing to glorify their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ because they are not obeying His instructions. There is no excuse for ignorance because He has given us His Word. Daily we must sit at His feet and allow Him to teach us so that we can enjoy His richest blessings in all areas of our lives and so we can be used to share the Gospel with those who are still in their sins as well as help disciple fellow believers.

I believe that a great number of people are going to die and go to hell because they're counting on their religiosity in the church instead of their relationship with Jesus to get them to heaven. They give lip service to repentance and faith, but they've never been born again.

It is heartbreaking to see many people placing their faith for eternal life and entrance into Heaven based on “good deeds”, all sorts of religious oberservances, etc., and die and go to Hell because they reject the Lord Jesus Christ. They choose to believe the false teachings of men, (some teach Christ plus regious rites which is false doctrine and deceives) rather than repenting of all their sin (Luke 13:3,5) and trusting Jesus Christ alone to be their Lord and Savior. Born-again believers must be diligent and faithful in proclaiming the truth of God’s Word to those who are lost.

If you are not trusting Jesus Christ and Him alone to be your Lord and Savior, do so NOW, before it is too late!

The born-again believer who daily surrenders to the Lordship of Christ, the control of the Holy Spirit, and the authority of God’s Word will never be average! They will develop and use all their natural talents and spiritual gifts for the glory of the Lord Jesus exactly as He wants to use them. The word “average” will never describe them because they will be fulfilling the Lord’s will fir their life. They will be obeying the hymn, “Give of Your Best to the Master.” Does this describe you?

Trials ought to cause us to immerse ourselves in the Word of God because faith comes, is creased by the truths and promises of God’s Word (Romans 10:17). Of course, we should be in the Word all the time, allowing our Lord by His Holy Spirit to instruct us, writing His Word upon our minds and controlling our hearts, emotions and will. George Mueller was a great man of faith because he knew his Lord’s Word, will and promises. He valued the Word of God above the value of all the riches of this world. As we do the same, we will hide it in our hearts (psalm 119:11) and apply its truths to all areas of our lives and in every situation, even our trials.

In so doing, we will not only become more like Him in character but also we will serve Him whole-heartedly and do service for Him in the manner He wants it done. We will constantly be overcoming sin, making progress in reaching lost people for Christ and helping fellow believers to grow spiritually.

Since He is the Lover of our souls and has purchased us with His precious blood, we should be completely satisfied in Him!

Do you have a passionate relationship with Jesus Christ? Are you so yielded to His Lordship that He can live out His life in all the areas of your life? Do people see the reality of a sinner saved by grace in your attitudes, reactions, behavior, the way you do your work, your home life, etc.? Is your relationship with Christ so real that others want to know how they can have the same type of relationship and, therefore, you have the opportunity to share the Gospel with them? Is your relationship so real that fellow believers want you to help them grow up in Him?

The Fruit of the Spirit is not only the character of the Spirit but also the Father and the Lord Jesus. As we imitate the Lord Jesus (1 Corinthians 11:1) and unbelievers, who have a disbelief in God, are the recipients of His love, etc., they see how real Jesus is and many are open for us to share the Gospel with them. Many have trusted Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior.

Unsaved people are not impressed with our profession and all our talk. They need to see the reality that we have become new creations in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17).
